Complete Expedition to Sahara and Atlas: 7 Days from Marrakech

After breakfast, we begin the guided tour of Marrakech. We will explore the main monuments of the city: the Koutoubia Mosque with its impressive minaret, the Majorelle Gardens, and the Bahia Palace.

We continue through the medina visiting the traditional souks where you can admire local craftsmanship: carpets, spices, Berber jewelry, and leather products. We will also visit the Saadian Tombs and the Ben Youssef Madrasa.

In the afternoon, free time in the famous Jemaa el-Fna Square to enjoy the unique atmosphere with its storytellers, gnawa musicians, and traditional food stalls. Accommodation in Marrakech.

Early departure from Marrakech crossing the spectacular High Atlas through the famous Tizi n'Tichka mountain pass (2,260m), the highest in Morocco. Impressive mountain landscapes and small traditional Berber villages.

Arrival in Ouarzazate, known as the "Hollywood of Africa" for its film studios. We will visit the city and its surroundings, including possible visits to local kasbahs.

We continue to the spectacular Dades Gorges, an impressive canyon with unique rock formations known as "monkey fingers". The valley offers dramatic landscapes and fascinating geology.

Arrival at the Dades Valley where we will spend the night in a traditional hotel surrounded by impressive rock formations and palm trees.

After breakfast, we explore the spectacular Todra Gorges, an impressive canyon with vertical walls reaching 300 meters high. A very popular spot among climbers offering a unique dramatic landscape.

We continue eastward, passing through small Berber villages and palm oases until we reach the majestic dunes of the Sahara desert in Merzouga, the highest dunes in Morocco.

At sunset, a unique experience: camel ride for approximately 1 hour to our traditional Berber camp in the middle of the dunes. Unforgettable sunset over the sea of golden sand.

Night in a luxury camp under the Sahara stars with traditional Berber music around the campfire, typical Moroccan dinner and the magical experience of sleeping in the desert.

Early wake-up to enjoy the sunrise in the Sahara desert, one of the most beautiful natural spectacles in the world. After breakfast at the camp, camel ride back to the meeting point with our vehicle.

Journey westward, passing through the small town of Agdaz, known for its palm trees and traditional kasbahs. This village offers an authentic experience of rural Moroccan life.

We continue the journey through varied landscapes of southern Morocco, including palm valleys and small Berber villages, until we reach Ouarzazate again.

Accommodation in Ouarzazate where we will spend the night. Free time to explore the city and its surroundings, or simply relax after the desert experience.

We will visit the iconic Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site famous for appearing in films like "Gladiator" and "Game of Thrones". Time to explore its alleyways and climb to the top to enjoy panoramic views of the valley.

Return journey to Marrakech crossing the majestic High Atlas mountains again via the Tizi n'Tichka pass. Stops to admire the mountain landscapes and visit local argan oil cooperatives.

Arrival in Marrakech in the afternoon. Accommodation in Marrakech for our last night of the tour.

Last day of our complete expedition. After breakfast, free time in Marrakech for last shopping in the souks, relaxing at the hotel, or exploring any corner of the city we haven't visited yet.

Possibility of visiting a traditional hammam for relaxation, or simply enjoying mint tea on a terrace with views of the city.

Depending on your flight schedule, transfer to Marrakech airport where our complete 7-day expedition through the Sahara and Atlas ends. Farewell and end of services.
